Bridges of Grace Church

A humble beginning with a Gospel mission

Bridges of Grace Church is currently meeting as a house church in Central Uganda.

It is a simple beginning, but we believe God often starts lasting works in humble places. Around the Word of God, prayer, worship, fellowship, and discipleship, a church family is being formed.

Our desire is to build a Christ-centered church where people can know Jesus, grow in Scripture, find spiritual family, and be strengthened to live as faithful disciples.

Rooted in Christ

Bridges of Grace Church exists under the ministry of Bridges of Grace, a Christian nonprofit organization serving people in Uganda and Minnesota.

The church is built on Jesus Christ and guided by the Bible as the inspired Word of God. We believe the Church is the body of Christ — a family of believers called to worship God, preach the Gospel, make disciples, care for one another, and serve the world with love.

Our foundation is not a building. Our foundation is Christ.

Before we have a permanent church facility, before we have every resource in place, and before we officially launch publicly, we are already gathering around what matters most: Jesus, His Word, His people, and His mission.

Why we exist

Bridges of Grace Church exists to help people encounter Jesus Christ and grow in the grace and truth of God’s Word.

We want to be a church where the Gospel is preached clearly, where prayer is central, where worship is sincere, and where people are discipled with patience and love.

Our purpose is rooted in Mark 16:15:

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”

This calling shapes the life of our church. We want people to hear the Gospel, receive the hope of Christ, grow as disciples, and carry His love into their families and communities.

What we are building

We are building more than a place for Sunday services.

We are building a spiritual family.

A place where children are loved and taught the Word of God.
A place where young people receive guidance and discipleship.
A place where families are strengthened through prayer and pastoral care.
A place where the vulnerable are seen with dignity.
A place where believers grow in faith and serve with compassion.

We want Bridges of Grace Church to become a home of worship, teaching, healing, fellowship, and mission.

Our church life today

As a house church, our gatherings are personal, simple, and deeply focused on spiritual growth.

We gather for prayer, worship, Bible teaching, fellowship, pastoral care, discipleship, children and family support, community outreach, and Gospel evangelism.

This season is helping us build slowly and faithfully. It gives us time to form leaders, teach the Word, care for people, and prepare the church for the future God is opening before us.

Our message

The message of Bridges of Grace Church is Jesus Christ.

We preach Him as Savior, Lord, Redeemer, and King. We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Him. Through repentance and faith, people are forgiven, restored, and made new.

We believe the Bible is the final authority for our faith, teaching, correction, ministry, and daily life.

We believe the Holy Spirit empowers believers to live for Christ, grow in holiness, serve faithfully, and bear witness to the Gospel.

We believe the Church is called to worship God, make disciples, care for people, and reflect the love of Jesus in the world.

Preparing for the January 2027 launch

We are prayerfully preparing for the official launch of Bridges of Grace Church in January 2027.

This launch is not only about moving into a public worship space. It is about strengthening what God has already begun and preparing to serve more people with faithfulness and care.

Before the launch, we are praying for:

A suitable rented worship space.
Bibles and discipleship materials.
Chairs and basic church setup needs.
Worship and sound equipment.
Children’s ministry resources.
Leadership and volunteer training.
Community outreach support.
Monthly ministry partners.
Prayer partners and mission friends.

We do not want to rush ahead of God. We want to prepare with wisdom, humility, and faith.

A church for the community

Bridges of Grace Church exists for the glory of God and the good of people.

Our prayer is to become a church that faithfully preaches the Gospel, teaches the Word, protects children, strengthens families, disciples young people, serves the vulnerable, and helps communities experience the love of Christ in practical ways.

We believe grace builds bridges — between people and Jesus, between brokenness and healing, between loneliness and family, and between the Church and the community it is called to serve.

Our prayer

Our prayer is that Bridges of Grace Church will become a faithful home for many people in Central Uganda.

A place where Jesus is worshiped.
A place where Scripture is taught.
A place where disciples are made.
A place where children are loved and protected.
A place where families are strengthened.
A place where communities are served with compassion.

We are still growing.
We are still preparing.
We are still trusting God.

But our heart is clear: to preach Christ, make disciples, and serve people with the love and grace of God.
