Church Launch Vision & Needs
Preparing a home for worship, discipleship, and community
Bridges of Grace Church is currently meeting as a house church in Central Uganda.
We are thankful for this season. It is small, simple, and deeply meaningful. Around prayer, worship, Bible teaching, fellowship, and discipleship, God is helping us build the foundation of a church family.
As the ministry grows, we are preparing for the next step: the official launch of Bridges of Grace Church in January 2027.
Because we will not have a permanent church building by that time, our prayer is to begin wisely by renting a public worship space for the first year. We are looking for a place that can serve about 200 people, with room for children’s ministry, discipleship classes, church offices, storage, prayer gatherings, and community outreach.
We want to begin faithfully, not hurriedly. Our desire is to prepare well, steward every gift carefully, and create a welcoming place where people can encounter Jesus Christ and grow in the Word of God.
The vision
The vision for Bridges of Grace Church is not only to hold services. It is to build a Christ-centered church family.
We are praying for a place where people can worship God, hear the Gospel, receive pastoral care, grow through discipleship, and find the love of Christian community.
A rented worship space will help us move from a house church setting into a more public and organized place of ministry. It will allow us to welcome more families, serve children safely, train leaders, store ministry resources, and reach the surrounding community with the message and love of Jesus Christ.
Our prayer is that this first church home will become a place where lives are changed by the Gospel and where the foundation is laid for a lasting witness in Central Uganda.
What we are praying for
For the January 2027 launch, we are praying for a rented church space with:
A worship hall for about 200 people.
Room for children’s ministry.
Space for discipleship and Bible teaching.
Church office space for administration and pastoral care.
Storage for chairs, sound equipment, Bibles, children’s materials, and outreach supplies.
A safe and accessible location for families, children, young people, and community members.
A setting where worship, prayer, leadership training, and Gospel outreach can grow.
We are not looking for luxury. We are praying for a simple, practical, safe, and welcoming place where the work God has begun can continue to grow.
Why this launch matters
Bridges of Grace Church exists to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, make disciples, teach the Word of God, worship together, and serve people with the love of Christ.
A public worship space will help the church serve people with greater consistency, dignity, and order.
With this space, we will be able to:
Hold weekly worship services.
Teach discipleship and Bible classes.
Create a safe environment for children.
Train leaders and volunteers.
Provide pastoral care and prayer.
Host Gospel outreach and community gatherings.
Store ministry equipment safely.
Welcome families into a stable church environment.
Build a stronger foundation for future growth.
This launch is a step of faith. It is also a step of preparation.

The budget below is an estimated one-year launch budget for a 200-capacity rented church space in Central Uganda. All figures are listed in Uganda Shillings with estimated United States Dollar equivalents in brackets.
These amounts are planning estimates. Final costs may change depending on exchange rates, location, vendor pricing, rent negotiations, and the actual setup needs at the time of launch.

Our greatest needs before launch
Before the public launch in January 2027, we are praying for the resources needed to begin well.
A place to gather
Our first major need is a rented worship space that can hold about 200 people and provide room for offices, storage, children’s ministry, discipleship classes, and outreach.
This space will give Bridges of Grace Church a stable home for worship, teaching, prayer, pastoral care, and ministry growth.
Worship and teaching equipment
We need sound equipment, microphones, speakers, instruments, a pulpit, lighting, projection equipment, and media tools that will help us preach the Word clearly and lead worship faithfully.
Chairs and basic church setup
We need seating for about 200 people, children’s ministry furniture, office setup, storage shelves, signage, and practical items that make the church welcoming and ready to serve families.
Bibles and discipleship materials
Discipleship is central to Bridges of Grace Church. We need Bibles, printed lessons, Bible study resources, teaching materials, and leadership training tools.
Our desire is not only to gather people, but to help them grow in the Word of God.
Children and family ministry
We want the church to be a safe and loving place for children and families. We need children’s ministry supplies, teaching resources, safe spaces, and trained volunteers who will serve with wisdom and care.
Launch outreach
Before the official launch, we want to reach the surrounding community through Gospel outreach, invitations, prayer, home visits, evangelism, and community engagement.
We want people to know that Bridges of Grace Church is being planted to preach Christ, make disciples, strengthen families, and serve the community with love.
