Mission & Vision
Why we exist
Bridges of Grace exists because we believe the Gospel changes lives.
Our calling is simple: to preach Jesus Christ, make disciples, teach the Word of God, and serve people with the love of Christ.
This mission is rooted in the words of Jesus in Mark 16:15:
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”
For us, this is more than a Bible verse. It is the heartbeat of our ministry. It shapes how we preach, how we serve, how we care for children and families, how we disciple believers, and how we walk with communities in Uganda and Minnesota.
We believe the Gospel must be spoken with truth and lived with love. That is why Bridges of Grace exists — to help people hear about Jesus, experience His grace, and discover the hope found in Him.
Our Mission
Our mission is to share the love and message of Jesus Christ through Gospel outreach, discipleship, church ministry, children and family support, community care, and missionary work.
We want people to know Jesus, grow in the Word of God, experience the care of Christian community, and walk in the dignity and purpose God has given them.
In every part of our work, our desire is to reach hearts, build lives, strengthen families, and point people to Christ.
Our Vision
Our vision is to become a faithful bridge of grace between people and Jesus Christ, and between people and the love, care, and support they need.
We long to see children raised in safe and loving environments. We want young people to be discipled, encouraged, and equipped for life. We desire to see women and families strengthened with dignity, faith, and practical support. We pray for communities to be served with compassion and for believers to grow as faithful followers of Jesus.
In Uganda, this vision includes Bridges of Grace Church, which is currently operating as a house church. We are praying and preparing toward an official church launch in January 2027, trusting God to provide the people, leadership, resources, and partnerships needed for the work ahead.
In Minnesota, we continue to grow in missionary work, discipleship, prayer, outreach, and support for the ministry God has entrusted to Bridges of Grace.
One mission. Two nations. Many lives touched by the grace of God.
What guides our work
Everything we do is shaped by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the authority of God’s Word.
We believe people need both spiritual truth and practical love. A child needs safety and belonging. A young person needs guidance and discipleship. A family needs encouragement and support. A community needs hope. The Church needs to be a faithful witness of Christ.
For this reason, our work is centered in five main areas.
Gospel Outreach
We share the good news of Jesus Christ through evangelism, preaching, prayer, community visits, missionary work, and Gospel gatherings.
Our desire is for people to hear about Jesus, encounter His love, and receive the hope of salvation.
Discipleship & Bible Teaching
We believe people are called not only to believe in Jesus, but to follow Him.
Through Bible teaching, devotional messages, discipleship classes, prayer, and leadership training, we help believers grow in faith, wisdom, obedience, and spiritual maturity.
Church Ministry
Bridges of Grace Church in Uganda is currently meeting as a house church.
Through worship, teaching, prayer, fellowship, discipleship, and pastoral care, we are building a church family rooted in Christ and preparing for the January 2027 launch.
Our prayer is to see this church become a place where people worship God, learn His Word, grow in grace, and serve their community faithfully.
Children & Family Support
We care for children, families, vulnerable young adults, and women through practical support, discipleship, encouragement, education support, family-centered care, and community love.
We believe every person is created in the image of God and deserves to be loved, protected, guided, and given the opportunity to grow.
Community Care & Stewardship
We serve communities through acts of compassion, practical assistance, prayer, family support, and responsible stewardship.
This includes caring for people in need, supporting community well-being, and participating in nature conservation as part of honoring God’s creation.
Our heart
At the heart of Bridges of Grace is Jesus Christ.
He is the message we preach.
He is the hope we carry.
He is the reason we serve.
We believe grace builds bridges — between brokenness and healing, fear and hope, need and care, people and the Savior who loves them.
The work is still growing. The story is still being written. And by God’s grace, we will continue to preach Christ, make disciples, care for people, and serve communities with love.
