Partner with us in prayer

Bridges of Grace was born through faith, prayer, and obedience to Jesus Christ.

We believe prayer is not something we add after the work has begun. Prayer is where the work begins. It keeps our hearts humble, our mission clear, and our dependence on God strong.

As Bridges of Grace serves in Uganda and Minnesota, we invite you to stand with us in prayer. Pray for the children and families we serve, the Gospel outreach taking place in communities, the discipleship work, Bridges of Grace Church, our leaders, volunteers, donors, and every person God is bringing into this mission.

Why we pray

The work of Bridges of Grace belongs to God.

The Gospel is His message.
The Church is His body.
The children are precious to Him.
The families we serve are seen by Him.
The future of this ministry is in His hands.

Prayer reminds us that we cannot do this work by our own strength. We need the grace of God, the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, and the provision that only He can give.

Pray for Gospel Outreach

Pray that Bridges of Grace will faithfully share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with truth, humility, courage, and love.

Pray for open doors in Uganda and Minnesota. Ask God to prepare hearts to receive the message of salvation and the hope found in Jesus.

Pray for outreach gatherings, home visits, community evangelism, and missionary work. Pray that people who feel forgotten, broken, or far from God will encounter His grace.

Pray also that every outreach will lead to discipleship, spiritual growth, and lasting transformation.

Pray for Discipleship & Bible Teaching

Pray that the Word of God will be taught clearly and faithfully through Bridges of Grace.

Pray for discipleship classes, Bible studies, weekly messages, sermons, devotional teachings, and leadership training. Ask God to help believers grow in faith, obedience, prayer, holiness, and love.

Pray for teachers and leaders to remain rooted in Scripture and led by the Holy Spirit.

Pray that Bridges of Grace will raise disciples who can also help others follow Jesus.

Pray for Bridges of Grace Church

Pray for Bridges of Grace Church in Central Uganda, currently meeting as a house church.

Ask God to strengthen the church family in love, unity, faith, prayer, and obedience to Christ. Pray for wisdom as the church prepares to launch publicly in January 2027.

Pray for a suitable rented worship space, chairs, sound equipment, Bibles, children’s ministry resources, leadership support, and monthly ministry partners.

Most of all, pray that Bridges of Grace Church will become a faithful home where Jesus is worshiped, the Word is taught, disciples are made, and families are strengthened.

Pray for Children & Family Support

Pray for the children, families, young adults, and women served through Bridges of Grace.

Many children have come from places of poverty, instability, unsafe living conditions, loss, or deep need. Pray that each child will know safety, love, belonging, education, care, and the hope of Jesus Christ.

Pray for families facing hardship, sickness, discouragement, or brokenness. Ask God to provide, heal, guide, and strengthen them.

Pray for vulnerable young adults and women to receive discipleship, skills, dignity, confidence, and encouragement for the future.

Pray for Church & Community Care

Pray that Bridges of Grace will serve communities with compassion, wisdom, and integrity.

Pray for families who need encouragement, prayer, pastoral care, and practical support. Pray for young people to be guided by the Word of God and protected from harmful paths.

Ask God to bless community outreach, home visits, acts of compassion, and every opportunity to show the love of Christ in practical ways.

May our service always reflect the heart of Jesus.

Pray for Nature Conservation

Pray for the nature conservation and stewardship work of Bridges of Grace.

Ask God to help communities care for His creation with wisdom and responsibility. Pray for tree planting, clean community spaces, environmental awareness, and stewardship projects.

Pray that children and young people will learn to value the land, water, trees, and resources God has entrusted to us.

May this work bless families with cleaner, safer, and healthier surroundings.

Pray for Leadership

Pray for Ian Matovu Sendi, the Board of Directors, ministry leaders, pastors, caregivers, teachers, volunteers, and partners connected to Bridges of Grace.

Ask God to give them humility, wisdom, spiritual strength, integrity, accountability, and obedience to Christ.

Pray for protection from pride, discouragement, confusion, burnout, and distraction. Pray for unity among leaders in Uganda and Minnesota.

May every decision honor God and protect the mission.

Pray for Financial Provision

Pray that God will provide for the needs of Bridges of Grace through faithful partners, donors, churches, friends, and supporters.

Pray for Gospel outreach, discipleship, children and family care, church launch needs, community care, nature conservation, and monthly ministry support.

Ask God to raise donors who give with joy, wisdom, and confidence. Pray that every gift will be stewarded with integrity and prayer.

Pray for Uganda

Pray for the work of Bridges of Grace in Uganda.

Pray for Kampala, Central Uganda, Bridges of Grace Church, the house church family, children, families, young people, women, caregivers, and local ministry leaders.

Ask God for protection, provision, discipleship, Gospel growth, and open doors in the communities we serve.

Pray that many lives in Uganda will be touched by the message and love of Jesus Christ.

Pray for Minnesota

Pray for the work of Bridges of Grace in Minnesota.

Pray for missionary outreach, discipleship, prayer support, ministry partnerships, donor relationships, and community engagement.

Ask God to open doors for the Gospel and to connect Bridges of Grace with churches, families, friends, and supporters who believe in this mission.

Pray that Minnesota will continue to be a strong base of prayer, support, discipleship, and mission for the work in Uganda and beyond.

Pray for Protection and Integrity

Pray that Bridges of Grace will remain protected spiritually, legally, financially, and relationally.

Pray for children and vulnerable people to be safe. Pray for strong safeguarding, honest leadership, wise financial stewardship, and good governance.

Ask God to protect the ministry from anything that could distract, divide, weaken, or harm the mission.

May Bridges of Grace remain faithful to Jesus Christ in public and in private.

How to pray with us

You can partner with Bridges of Grace in prayer by praying personally, praying with your family, sharing our needs with your church or small group, joining our ministry updates, and remembering the work in Uganda and Minnesota throughout the month.

You can also pray regularly for our weekly messages, Gospel outreach, church launch preparation, children and family support, and the communities we serve.

Our prayer

Lord Jesus, help us preach Your Gospel faithfully.

Teach us to make disciples with patience and love. Help us teach Your Word with truth and humility. Give us compassion as we care for children and families. Give us wisdom as we serve communities. Build Bridges of Grace Church on You alone.

Help us steward every gift and opportunity with integrity.
